Stokes of Hibs to replace Celtic’s Keane
Absolute rumour mongering headline

Everyone knows that Robbie Keane is only at Celtic until the end of the season and he won’t be there the following season.
Whether it is back to the bench at Spurs or perhaps moving on to another EPL club, Keane will be heading back down South when the Scottish season ends.
This means that the Celtic boss, whoever that may be, will be looking to bring in a new striker to fill the boots of Robbie Keane.
A leaf may be taken from Trappatoni’s book.
Keane was an injury doubt before the Rangers v Celtic match and although he started, he never fully grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck.
The striker has therefore pulled out of the friendly between Brazil and the Republic of Ireland at the Emirates Stadium and he has been replaced by Stokes.
Stokes has been on fine form this season and being reunited with former boss John Hughes has clearly been good for him.
The recall to the international squad can only be deemed a further positive step in the career for Stokes.
In the summer, Anthony will have a decision to make.
Leaving Hughes the last time put his career on a downward turn but there is no doubt that he will view himself as a player deserving of being on a bigger stage than Easter Road, which is no slight on Hibs. Stokes maybe needs to realise if he is the player he thinks he is.
It is almost inevitable that speculation will begin about Anthony Stokes, a return to the international stage will only heighten this.
What do you think Stokes should do at the end of the season?
