Slovak Milos Lacny heads back to Celtic
Another trial for Slovakian striker

The 21 year old has already been on trial at Celtic recently but is due to be flying back in this week for a further trial.
Celtic fans will know that a trial is no guarantee of a signing, in fact, at times it seems like a sure-fire way to guarantee that the player won’t be signing for the club.
The striker netted in a 1-1 draw match against Everton reserves and there was clearly something of interest about the player that has seen Celtic want to take another look at him.
With the rumours still going round about Belarus stopper Dzmitry Verkhovtsov flying in at the start of the week, only the Glasgow Airport staff may be as busy as the Celtic management team in the next few days.
Knowing that Celtic have budgetary concerns, the news that the player is out of contract during the summer will definitely be of interest to Tony Mowbray and the money men at Celtic Park.
It is also something that is of note for the player’s agent, who, at least for the UK market if not further afield, is Raymond Sparkes, who said;
“Milos has a clause in his contract which allows him to go for a set fee and that wouldn’t be expensive for a club like Celtic”
One point that may be an issue is that the player would be looking to break into the Slovakian squad for the World Cup and would therefore need to be playing regular first team football. This may not be on offer at Celtic right away and would therefore be a huge gamble for the player.
That said, the time has come for Celtic to stop buying squad players. They desperately need a finisher as yet again, they dominated Hamilton and nearly dropped points because of their inability to put the ball in the net.
Will this be a triallist that signs for Celtic?
