The Staggies come to the home of the ‘Weegies!

Dingwall was deserted on Saturday 15th of May as the followers of Ross County made their way to Glasgow to see their team play in the Active Nation Scottish Cup final. It was the biggest day in the First Division club’s history so we popped along to Hampden to soak up some of the pre-match atmosphere.

The beauty about Cup Final day is that it is open for everyone and the next picture sees all ages making the most of their trip to Hampden!

Of course, it takes two teams to make a final and the next picture shows the good atmosphere that was surrounding Hampden before the kick-off.

In the end it was not to be for Ross County but no doubt the memories of their Cup run will live long in the memory of the Staggies. Victories over Hibs and Celtic would be enough to make this season legendary for any club outwith the top flight in Scotland, today’s Hampden encounter was all a bonus…even if there was sadness at the end of the game for County fans.
