Rangers need all eyes and ears on the Fir Park action
No distraction needed for Ibrox men

One of the best things about a midweek SPL fixture list is that Celtic and Rangers can often be found playing on the same night. The joy of hearing your rivals losing over the radio or by a text message when your own team is winning is one of the biggest sources of football fun available.
Last time around in the SPL, the full midweek fixture card had Rangers fans howling with laughter as Hibs grabbed a sensational late win at Celtic Park. This was just after Nacho Novo had put Rangers 2-0 up over St Mirren, making Paisley seem a warm and welcoming place….for once!
This is fine for the fans but Rangers must stay on track because if they do what they have to, it doesn’t matter about Celtic. This will be all the motivation they need and the addition of Sasa Papac to the squad should further improve the Rangers mood.
Rangers have been toiling on their travels of late but they have that extra spark about them in the league which suggests they will do enough tonight. If it was a cup match, a draw would be a good bet but you think that Rangers will be able to turn out a victory.
If they do, their supporters will be in full voice so Motherwell boss Craig Brown will have to watch he doesn’t join in! The ex-Scotland manager has a bit of previous for that sort of behaviour but if he can continue his side’s good run of form, it will be the Well fans in good voice at the final whistle.
Motherwell have taken 13 points out of 15, which is a great return (lets face it, Celtic would kill for that consistency at the moment) and World Cup bound Michael McGlinchey is available for selection. Well do have a few injury problems and Giles Coke is unavailable through suspension.
The infamous Fir Park surface is still in a bit of trouble but it will be a night for rolling up sleeves and getting a job done.
Will the Well derail Rangers or will the Teddy Bears march on?

Tough game for Rangers, not won there in 2 years and Motherwell are on a good run of form. Rotten pitch as well.
Boyd and Miller should start and that will give the fans and the team a lift, key to our recent league success has been early goals, let’s hope that continues tonight, any slip up combined with a Celtic victory will give them a chink of light in the race for the League.
Can you get Wellies wi’ studs??
