Should Kilmarnock Russian-Roulette Kyle go?
Then again, do the Russians want him?

Last season, Kilmarnock fans had Kevin Kyle to thank for keeping them up in the SPL. The strikers goals and leading the line made the difference and moved Killie away from the drop zone which eventually saw Inverness Caley Thistle drop down to the SFL.
This season, things have been a bit more strained between fans and player. His achievements last season will see him remembered fondly in the long term but he hasn’t been the same this season.
Kyle was also involved in the bust-up between chairman and manager which led to Jim Jefferies heading away from Ayrshire to end up back at Tynecastle.
It had been accepted that the striker will be off at the end of the season but with football being a global game, some countries have an open transfer window and Kyle has been on trial with Russian club Spartak Nilchik.
The trial match didn’t go as well as Kyle would have hoped for but he is said to have set up a goal so there may be a chance that he will get a big move.
For his sake, he would be better off hoping that his move comes off as his current boss Jimmy Calderwood doesn’t appear to happy with him.
It turns out that Kyle met the club on Monday, they took him for a drink on Wednesday, he was flying out by Wednesday….no wait, that was Craig David.
Kyle was supposedly given permission to play in the trial match but then informed Calderwood that he would not be playing in the trial. The next thing Calderwood knew was when the press boys informed him that Kevin Kyle was on his way to Turkey for the trial match.
Jimmy was probably just jealous that Kyle was getting a wee spell in the sun and may come back with a better tan than the manager. That is a droppable offence at Killie at the moment.
So, it looks as though Kyle will be unavailable for the match against Hibs and considering the Leith side have been struggling of late, Killie could take something from the game.
After that, Killie have a big week ahead with Rangers at home and then Celtic in the cup. The disruption is probably what annoys Jimmy Calderwood more than anything else.
Killie fans, if Kyle goes, are you happy with that?
