Dubcentral needs to remember this post when is slagging off other people for talking in the third person.

Its almost Caldwell esque.

Willie Garner was not Caldwell esque, just not in that class.

DubCentral is not happy that he has not left the country.

Willie Garner is also not before DubCentral's time and those two goals are still etched in to his mind. He never really recovered from that day did he.

Cheers Mobo67, Willie Garner was just a bit before WeKnowSFA's time but the reaction of older fans when his name is mentioned is priceless.

Was there not also a defender who was made captain on his debut and scored at least one if not two one goals? Likely to have been around the later era of Stein - a definite first pick in the They Embarassed The Hoops XI.

WeKnowSFA would like to distance themselves from the remark about being pleased that Dubcentral has not yet left the country.

Willie Garner circa 1981 scored 2 similar goals in the one match. Pity they were both O.G.'s. (Good to see DubCentral has not left the country).

It's likely there will be a few pockets of Celtic fans everywhere who noted it at the time.

The decision to run with it came from the excellent synced up footage and hopefully it will bring it to the attention of some people.

Whilst not being at the same club, WeKnowSFA will try and later on dig out the video footage of the Maradona 2nd goal v England in 86 and the goal Messi scored for Barcelona.

Talk about heir to the throne!!

Excellent observation. (Smug mode) I noticed it on Saturday myself at the game and took great delight in telling everyone around me. A few peeps agreed and some just looked at me funny which is not unusual.
If anything, Crosas' pass was even better than the Maestro's (Blasphemy!) as he had less space to work with and had to be more precise with the defence-splitter.
Happy days were back again on Saturday.
