Favourable fixture list aids Falkirk survival hopes
Run-in starts now for Bairns

Stephen Pressley appears to have the spirit and backing of the Falkirk players, which surprises us because he doesn’t strike us being an inspirational figure.
HE. TALKS. LIKE. HIS. MIND. IS. A. VIDIPRINTER. AND. UPDATING………..ONE. LINE. AT. A. TIME.
The Falkirk boss seemed disappointed at failing to take a point from Celtic at the Falkirk Stadium but a lack of cutting edge left his team looking like a side in the bottom half.
Which is fair enough as they are a team at the bottom of the league but there is still plenty of hope and optimism for their survival chances.
The fixtures up to the split for the Bairns are:
H v St Johnstone
A v Hamilton
A v St Johnstone
H v Hibs
A v Motherwell
H v St Mirren
And then it’ll be five games against their fellow strugglers so you can see why Steven Pressley has an air of optimism about the fight against relegation. On paper, the trickiest game out of that lot will be away to Motherwell so there is a good chance of survival.
The absence of Carl Finnigan is not going to help the Bairns pick up the points they need but Pressley is advocating the power of positive thinking. The team here at WeKnowSFA tend to think that all this BELIEVE nonsense is for morons and the last refuge of the damned but if it works for you, it has to be worth a try.
Bairns fans, are you staying up?

True true, this is crunch time for us. Points must be gained and rapidly. The game at Hamilton will be a bruiser for sure.
Whilst Finnigan is hardly prolific it would be good to have him back as at least it’s another option. For now it’s Enoch, young Mark Stewart or Pedro as the only options, none can be classed as goal machines!
Maybe time for the midfield to chip in with a few more goals. Stand up Scotty and Flynn.
