England World Cup dreams hit by Schadenfreude

by WeKnowSFA

World Cup over for BBC and ITV.

We’d like to think we can do a service for our readers from time to time, so tonight, we are going to attempt to introduce a little German that you may want to use in the weeks and months ahead.

We will start with the word:

Schadenfreude

which means:

a pleasure that is derived from the misfortunes of others.

Hopefully you will have the opportunity to use this new word.

Who would have expected such a meek surrender from the former Empirerulers. What happened to the stiff upper lip, tally-ho Dads Army spirit, 1966, Dunkirk and all that?

3 lions on a shirt?!? More like 3 fluffy cutesy kittens.

BTW, why is that horrid old hag in the pic above (in front of those 2 buffoons who starred in Allo Allo) attending an Ingerlund game wearing a Norn Iron top?

  • Make the Stevie Wonder classic “4-1s in my life…” number one in Scotland.

The league’s alright…but thats down to the foreign players and managers.

Howard Wilkinson was the last English manager to win the top flight.

    Crikey!
