The Q&A’s turn up trumps again

A lot of Celtic fans were unhappy at the announcement of the Q&A Roadshows that were planned for this summer.

It is hard to blame fans but a big reaction was to think it was just another way to split the fans from their hard earned cash.

It is true that the club needs to shift season books and engaging with the fans may bring a few more back into the fold but they also appear to have broken some big news direct to the fans.

With respect to the appointment of Neil Lennon, one or two comments that slipped out at earlier Q&A’s seemed to suggest that the Lurgan man was already acting in the role of manager. This was later confirmed and it just may be that something has slipped out at tonight’s (Friday) Q&A.

The uncertainty over the signing of Joe Ledley has caused a few fans to worry and moan but Peter Lawwell has informed those present should not be concerned and shouldn’t listen too much to the media. On the surface of it, Peter Lawwell appeared to be sounding positive over the capture of Ledley.

Until it is officially announced, there is always going to be an element of doubt but this sort of comment may help some fans to have a slightly more relaxing weekend.

There have been plenty of rumours kicking about but the informative Celtic Rumours tweet said that Ledley will be given the number 11 kit. If this comes true, it will be more Ledley’s 11 than Legs 11 at Celtic Park next season.

Following on from the news that the 3rd round Champions League qualifier is set to be on the season book, this latest news may see some fans having a slightly more positive feeling towards their PLC board.

Or it may not…let’s not get carried away.
